There will be no boat tours or Harbor Cruises the weekend of June 22nd-23rd. The park looks forward to the start of the Hop On, Hop Off Harbor Cruise season for all to enjoy! Two Historical Boat Tours are scheduled for Saturday, June 29th. Book in advance and save $5.

11:40PM – White Sails, Black Hands: The African American Experience on the Thames

1:05PM – Captivating Books and Stories Inspired by Sites Along the Thames River

Guests are allowed to bring well-behaved dogs and personal beverages/snacks to enhance their experience.

This boat tour departs from City Pier in New London and is a 75-minute excursion.

The summer solstice aligns with the Strawberry full moon this week! Join the park for a magical cruise to Ledge Light as the Full Moon rises over the Sound. 1-Hour Harbor Cruise from City Pier Returns for Father’s Day Weekend!

Take in the sights and sounds of the New London and Groton coastlines while cruising aboard the park’s retired navy utility boats. The roundtrip will bring you down the Thames River & out to the mouth of the Long Island Sound. Perfect for all ages and a fantastic Father’s Day outing.

Sponsored by Connecticut Forest & Park Association, and held on the first weekend of June every year, it is the largest celebration of trails in the nation. CT Trails Day brings folks together to get outside and appreciate all they can find in their own backyards. All events are free to the public and vary in degrees of difficulty.
